A Complete Home Transformation in Ryde

What Happens When a House No Longer Reflects How You Want to Live?
This Ryde home needed more than a few cosmetic updates. The roof, facade, windows and internal layout were all working against the owners rather than for them, and the brief from the start was a full transformation rather than a patch-up job.
NCP Constructions took the project from an ageing, disconnected weatherboard home through to a light-filled, cohesive property with a completely new identity, inside and out.

The Scope of Work

Our team managed the renovation from planning through to completion, ensuring every stage was completed with precision and attention to detail.

The project included:

Roof: full reconfiguration of the roofline, finished with a new Colorbond metal roof
Windows: new windows and plantation-style louvres throughout, lifting natural light and privacy
Cladding: new weatherboard cladding across the facade for a classic coastal look
Entrance: a new timber entrance door that changes how the whole front of the house reads
Kitchen: a full kitchen renovation with a large island, skylight and floor-to-ceiling cabinetry
Living Areas: reconfigured living and dining spaces that open onto the kitchen
Bathrooms: two bathrooms fully renovated, including a freestanding bath and a separate walk-in shower
Laundry: a new laundry with updated cabinetry, feature floor tiles and improved storage
Storage: new built-in hallway storage added to make better use of existing space

A Facade That Changes the Whole House

Reworking the roofline was the structural heart of this project. Once the new Colorbond roof and reconfigured roofline were in place, the weatherboard cladding, new windows and timber entrance came together to give the home a classic, cohesive street presence without touching its original footprint.

The Result

A Ryde home that now looks and functions like a different property altogether, while staying true to its original footprint and character. It’s a strong example of what’s possible when a facade renovation, a full kitchen rebuild and targeted internal updates are planned together rather than treated as separate projects.
